I tried 7308s but got buzzing and ocillation (they can't handle the higher current).

Does anyone know if a restistor mod is possible for heater current and if any other factors need consideration?

I find the 6N1Ps (tried various types, inc the rocket logo EBs) a little hollow in the mids, which makes music sound just a little distant and un-personal - does anyone else notice this?

I've tried 6BQ7As as these have similar heater current to 6N1P, they sounded pretty good, but I would like to hear it with 7308s
