Budget Amplifiers Comparison
« on: 23 Jan 2020, 09:48 am »
Hello Guys,
I made a comparison between the specs of some of the good amplifiers for a budget of 1000 EUR and i thought of sharing it with you.
Please if you have any experience (good/bad) please mention it in your comments.
Apologies if any of the information mentioned in the attached sheet is inaccurate, I did my best.
I'm trying to match my Triangle Comete EZ speakers that I bought recently, so if you have any advice in this regards that would be much appreciated.

Being largely a U.S. based site, you might have a hard time getting advice on European brands.  But's here's a review that compares different amps:

And your spreadsheet displays very small/fuzzy when expanded (which is the only way I can view it).

Out of the brands of amps you listed the Dayens probably has the best reputation around here.  Bought a Rotel 20 years ago, it was a dog.  Haven't heard much good about Rega amps either.  I owned Temple Audio mono-blocks a few years back - very nice indeed.  They sell a 100 wpc integrated -Temple Audio Bantam One for 1080 pounds which looks rather stunning.  Here's an older review of the less powerful current version:
