11" or 13" MBA

Well, it's been a while but I've moved over to a 13" MacBook Pro. This is (in theory) a practical interim solution for me. With Thunderbolt storage still in its infancy, my need to move to a single-computer (not including music computer) setup, and Firewire still needed on the desktop, this was the best choice for me at this point in time. I really miss the Air, and its screen, and weight, and form factor, and.... well, just about everything. I just try to think back to what I paid/what I got with my first Apple laptop, a Powerbook 170...

Enh. Practicalities. Roll on, 2013, is all I can say at this point  :green: :lol: :lol: :lol:

So Jason, how is your Air working out?  :green:

Does anyone have any issues with Safari locking up?  I get the spinning wheel sometimes.  The only way to fix is quit Safari.

No such problem with me.  I suspect it's site specific and something to do with JavaScript.

You might try Chrome?

Yeah, I prefer both Chrome and Firefox to Safari.

I have been happily using Chrome since Firefox constantly locked my machines. Chrome syncs nicely across all of my "i" devices too.

Who would have thought there was room for yet another browser in 2008?  Anyway, it's a good product.  I'm still using Safari, but many of my colleagues switched to Chrome ages ago.

Interesting that you recommended a different browser but still use Safari.   :scratch:  You really should try Chrome.  I'm amazed  :o how quick it is.  I've already switched all of my computers.   :D

was having similar issues with Safari, at least with Chrome, when it crashes, you can reload the page and not have to restart the browser.
