Title: How did Channel Islands get its name?
Post by: denjo on 22 Sep 2006, 04:52 am
Dusty

Channel Islands consists of a couple of islands off the east coast of England, Guernsey and Jersey. While "Channel Islands" is a great name and CIAudio is acronymous with an organisation that everyone knows,  I am just curious: how did you choose the name? Was it the street where you first set up your workshop/office/business?

We started as a repair/mod business 10 yrs ago (after I left Audio Alchemy). We are located about halfway between Malibu and Santa Barbara on the California coast. This area is known as Channel Islands due to the group of islands in the Santa Barbara channel.
