Tympani LAT in OB

Any thoughts?  It doesn't look that different than the idea behind some other OB subs I have seen.  EQ'ing would be an obvious necessity I'm sure!

It doesn't appear to be an open baffle

I just modeled the LAT as a compression driver in Hornresp and found both flat baffle (too soon rolloff) and Ripole-like pipe (flat rolloff and monstrous peak) are not ideal. I didn´t spend enough time to find the optimum angle, but a 90° V-frame opening to the rear seems to be a good compromise.
