Nohr wood vs synthetic marble
« on: 14 Nov 2009, 04:15 am »
Can anyone tell me their opininon on the sound quality differences between the wood and synthetic marble versions of the Nohr speakers?  Also, I hear that they are spec'ing dc gold drivers which are a full range driver- how does this compare to the vifa and scanspeak drivers that were in their earlier speakers?  thanks in advance.

Synthetic marble ("77% marble powder mixed with resin and gel coat"), or ""cultured marble" is better where all other things are equal.

I don't know anyone who has the DC Gold, but the Vifa/Scanspeak are very good - used by many manufacturers
