Title: I bought a Stratus 7 power cord......
Post by: DecibleDude on 14 Apr 2024, 11:55 pm
From Wireworld with the intention of using it with a power strip, but have changed my mind. Then I noticed that it could be used with my set 120 control amp because it's the same kind of plug etc. This cord is shorter, looks pretty cool and is twelve gauge and has some novel claims of being able to smooth the noise from the ac outlet.  I'm not saying I believe that, or that there will likely be some benefit, but what I want to be sure of is that it won't cause any problems for the amp impedance, capacitance or any other wise. :) Thanks.

No problem using this power cord with a SET 120 Control Amp except I am dubious of any extra virtues provided.

Oh yeah, I'm highly skeptical as well, but I have it, with no other use for it and it does look kind of cool. Thanks Sir.
