Post by: schw06 on 13 May 2011, 08:21 pm
I am looking for suggestions of interconnects that folks are using with their amadeus that they are pleased with. Thank you in advance.

I have a Well Tempered Reference rather than an Amadeus, but:  http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=82339.0

Hi David,
It's not what you match to the Amadeus, it's what you match to your cartridge/preamp.  I'm familiar with your cartridge, and many will be great with it....I just don't know anything about your preamp.  Perhaps you might search what people use with it?

I'm using the Origin Live phono cable into a Tom Evans Groove X.

Reviving an ancient thread

I use Morrow interconnects and am absolutely delighted with them. Very smooth and oodles of resolution.

Previously I was sceptical of the differences cables could make.

Put a Morrow IC in place of a Blue Jeans lc1 and the difference was not small. The clouds parted and the details showed through, not a hint of harshness.

Have Morrows in all places save the preamp to mono blocks run. That situation will be remedied next week with the arrival of my 20 ft xlr terminated morrow ic. Really stoked about hearing that
