Besides many of the singers already mentioned, my favorites are Nat King Cole, Karen Carpenter, I'll add two more, Patsy Cline and a very obscure singer with an amazing voice who right now my favorite, Kenny Rankin. I suggest the albums After the Roses and the Kenny Rankin Album. (It's mellow pop music.)
