Audio Federation HE2006 show coverage
« on: 25 Jun 2006, 12:20 pm »
justacoder has posted HE2006 show coverage and photos, including some very nice Odyssey room shots. I haven't read the report yet, but thought that those interested in Odyssey gear might want to peruse the show coverage including the Odyssey photos.

The show link above will take you to the original AC forum post, which I didn't want to bypass due to all the hard work of Audio Federation/justacoder. You'll find the actual show link in the first thread post. FYI - if you want to get to the Odyssey photos, once you hit the show link, click on the "Photo Audiopedia" link, then go to "Odyssey Design Group - 372". There's some nice hi rez photos of the Candela and other Odyssey gear.

One question: Klaus, what kind of footers is the Candela resting on? They look like some inverted (Audio Selection?) cones or something similar.

Enjoy, and thanks again to Mike and Neli for the coverage.

Thanks, djbnh.

I appreciate you not wanting to bypass the front page - but in the interest of saving just one more person from carpal tunnel syndrome:

The Odyssey Audio at HE 2006 page with medium sized photos is at:

http://www.audiofederation.com/hifiing/2006/HE2006/report/1000/floor3/salon372/index.htm

The Odyssey Audio at FSI 2006 page with medium sized photos is at:

http://www.audiofederation.com/hifiing/2006/FSI2006/report/report1000/part40/index.htm

If you want different sized photos, you will have to go in the front door or go here to 'shows':

http://www.audiofederation.com/catalog/show-reports/index.htm

We have pictures up there of other Odyessy Audio rooms at other shows, but they are harder to find.

We like the sound of Klaus' rooms - they have a well-balanced, enjoyable sound to them, to our ears.

This makes them not just a 'good value', but 'good' - as this kind of enjoyable sound is difficult to achieve for most rooms at shows, no matter what the price. I could make an even stronger statement, but I'll be nice. :-)

And, in case you are wondering, no we do not carry the product lines featured in Odyssey Audio's rooms - the approach we are taking with Audio Federation is to carry price-no-object state-of-the-art equipment whose sound can't be beat. But we like to point out where there is good sound to be had at more 'reasonable' prices, when we come across it - which unfortunately isn't all that often.

Enjoy!

-Mike.
