"Pair of Kings" with Stan Getz and Horace Silver.  This was taken from tapes of club gigs in 1950 and 51 when Getz brought on a fairly unknown Horace Silver.  The album was put together several years later on Jazztone.  This is an early 60's pressing on the obscure label Baronet.
Stan is more aggressive and bops harder than his later stuff, and Horace shows glimpses of being special.  Not the best recording, but not bad.  If anything, it's and interesting history piece.
