The Queen of Soul in a jazz venue. A couple of must hear sets. These albums predate her move to Atlantic where she became the Queen of Soul. Previously, she was on Capitol who tried to cast her as a jazz singer. Despite the jazz setting, the soul shines through. Hear Aretha like you've probably never heard her before. You can actually hear Dinah Washington in her voice. Great stuff!!

This one is a 2 disk compitlation of all her tracks at Columbia. There's some overlap but worthy of consideration.
