We Free Kings- Roland Kirk, 1961 (Trip Jazz).  No pictures of the album cover I could find so this one will have to do.  This album has You Did It, You Did It a one of a kind flute improv that is a must hear but probably very hard to find.  You could always come to my house.  No way to describe how funky it is.  Gets me everytime.  And, the sound is excellent.

Listen to it all.  It's great stuff from the late 50's/early 60's, and DO NOT miss You Did It, You Did It LOUD.  All time funkiest thing I have heard.  Down right nasty it's so bad.  Enjoy!

Not listening to it right now, but most recent find is Joey DeFrancesco "Wonderful! Wonderful!" With Larry Coryell on guitar. Forgetting the drummer at the moment; sorry. The cut I heard on the radio, "JLJ Blues", kicked serious a**.
