I've really been enjoying Paul Beaudry & Pathways' "Americas".

The music, apart from one original by band pianist Bennett Paster, is songs the band learned on their Jazz at Lincoln Center and U.S. State Department sponsored  "Rhythm Road" tour of Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Full disclosure: I produced, recorded and mastered this album.
Still, I find it hard to sit still while listening.  This album just *feels* good.

For those who might be interested, it was recorded "live" (for the microphones) direct to stereo using a single matched pair of high resolution microphones.  There were no overdubs, mixes or processing of the signals.  The record is essentially a document of the signals from the microphones.

I hope others enjoy this band's music as much as I do.

Best regards,
Barry

Something Mjosef turned us onto awhile back.  Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock" is very nicely done instrumentally.  Think you'd be surprised just how good a composition this is above and beyond it's lyrics which are already the epiphany of the time.  Cheers.

This little lady was not long for this world but this album is a legacy unto itself.  Man, she plays so nicely!  Very comfortable jazz.  Enthusiastically recommended.

Miles Davis ‎– Jazz Track

6 eye Columbia from 1958, cleaned it and still some surface noise, so a steaming next.

The playing is exquisite.

Gettin Around
Dexter Gordon | Format: vinyl

Not as 'deep' as "GO", but a pleasant listen, especially if you like some vibes in your music.
