Miles terrific 7 disc box set. Overall, pretty good remastering / better frequency extension, improvement in clarity ,silent background & oh yes, bass, definitely more solid & punchier ( Ron Carter on bass )

Yep, I bought the original release, and the tape noise was very evident. I got the 1st remaster when it became available, big improvement. Not sure about the subsequent remasters, but imagine most are pretty good as well. Without question my favorite Miles.

Wow - you're in a cool groove with last group of entries. I just picked up a pr. of Vandersteen 2Cis from another member, have Hank Mobley on right now via Duet/flac.

I may have to put on the 200gram vinyl pressing of KoB next, these speakers seem to like this music.
