Recorded live at a downtown venue called Ovations. This woman is a phenom. Wait till you hear Monk's Well You Needn't and Wayne Shorter's Speak No Evil. NOBODY sings like she does. Her intonation, scatting (sometimes thru a trumpet mouthpiece), and range is mind boggling. She knows how to caress a lyric, too. Boy, howdy, she does.
