Eurythmics ~greatest hits~

I enjoy listening to Annie Lennox, her voice is absolutely awesome and it is a complete joy on a solid pair of horns. This is what I refer to as a “stealth” CD” - I can be into an incredible amount of power on the 28’s and not even realize it. On my last system - when you got into the “power band” with this CD, you knew it as everything just fell apart.

The 9th. Osmo Vanska conducting the Minnesota Orchestra. Bill you will love this (SACD), it is not only a good performance, but also a very dynamic recording. You'll turn the volume at 12 o'clock to comfortably listen to the softer passages then it will blow you out of your chair when the orchestra goes in full.

I currently do not have my turntable hooked up (lack of space mainly), but I do have the CD in 3 different versions, including a first pressing from the electra label, which sounds quite excellent.

Cool. I just saw the vinyl at my local record store, but it was an inferior Columbia House pressing.
