Title says it all. Two of the best to ever prowl a sideline are leaving their respective teams after long, successful tenures. Saban has 7 championships at two schools, and Belichick has 6 Super Bowls in 8 tries. Damn those NY Giants. Football just took a blow to the gut.

Lots of great memories!
Thanks for the news...

Let's not forget that half season for The Atlanta Falcons when Saban quit on them mid season.🤔

you're close, 9 super Bowls appearances as a head coach, 12 overall.

You're right. I forgot the loss to Philly. The three as an assistant I did not count due to the almost two and half decades with New England.

That was with Miami and he left with like 5 or 6 games left in his second season.

that was not Saban that quit on Atlanta. Saban went from LSU to Miami Dolphins to Alabama.
It was Bobby Petrino that left Atlanta mid-season

Thank you for the correction. I thought he quit in the 1st season.

Saban did leave Miami, but finished out the season.
