I was told some time back that the front tube (closest to the volume knob) in my preamp matches the left speaker channel and the rear one matches the right. This is assuming that you have your interconnects correctly plugged (I checked mine twice).
I have been chasing a bad tube problem and have discovered that in my preamp the reverse is actually the case i.e. the front tube feeds the right channel and the rear tube feeds the left channel.
Can anyone else on the form here that owns a SWL 9.0 AE confirm what their tube to channel match is?
If mine is not as per the design of the preamp, would it cause any problems?
