Where to buy jazz discs?

Where to buy jazz discs?

Hi. I'm new to AudioCircle, and listen mostly to jazz. I used to collect a lot, but haven't lately. I always rip my discs to play back on my digital player (Bryston BDP-1). I want to start collecting again, but where I live the shops carry few jazz titles, and it is quite a distance to find any large stores. I also discovered that Amazon keeps few albums of the artists I'm interested in in stock. So my question is this: Is there any online source for jazz where there is a large selection of jazz on discs that can be ripped? Hope the members of this circle can through me a lifeline on this. Thanks.

  HD Tracks. There are a lot of HI Res jazz downloads available there. Just downloaded 6 this weekend (Structures...John Abercrombie & Eddie Gomez... Gene Harris and Scott Hamilton Quintet...A good sampler "THe New York Sessions...just for a few). Just go to hdtracks.com, Establih an account and enter the HI Res store on the sight. I'm sure you'll find a lot there.

Thanks but unfortunately I've tried HDTracks, but can't buy from there because I live in Canada which HDTracks tells me is not served by them.

   That's a bummer! Tell them to get you folks north of the border on board. They really do have a lot of good stuff.

Couldn't agree more! It is not untypical of the Canadian market, especially where I live. Many products and services either aren't available, or are difficult to get, and normally more expensive even when the Canadian dollar is more valuable than the US dollar. Many thanks for the suggestions - and the empathy.
