su omnia S1 does the format of external HD matter?
do you accept everything?
ntfs, fat32 ...
or exfat and ntfs for android?
I saw that the two memory partitions installed are very small and full ..... isn't it better to provide more space?

I will ask our PM (Product Manager) to response. You can put a SSD drive inside, or external hard driver. The external hard drive should be powered by USB hub instead of drawing power from Omnia S1.
Android OS supports FAT32 and EXT4.  I don't think NTFS is supported by Omnia S1
Currently there is no HD Format function on the Admin page, which can be added.

All the apps and system software can be updated from the cloud.  We maintain the new update list in a folder on the website. When you press the Update button on the Admin page, it will check the list on the website and then does the update of all the files.

Just in case you mess up the system (against our warning :)) to the point that it won't run anymore, you can update the firmware (instruction is on the product page Download tab) and then upload all the software apps and components again to get back to the latest version.
