Has anyone tried a hybrid of AV/0 with either X-LS or X-MTM?  Basically adding a top firing LGK or M130 to the x-series designs?

Danny did an experiment with two LGKs, one front firing, playing full range
and second, top firing, playing only the higher frequencies (to avoid cancellation)
in a small box. This was to producew a more ambient sound. IIRC, placement of
the top firing LGK was critical.

I wonder if this thread is what you're referencing? While not LGKs, they were 3" full rangers and still reside on my desktop.

The Skinny 6 uses a rear facing LGK for ambience.
