How do I balance the output of monoblocks?
« on: 11 Dec 2003, 01:30 am »
As posted elsewhere in this forum (several times) I have 2 7B ST monblocks driving my FB1's. How do I know they're producing similar power outputs, and if one sounds louder than the other, how do I "balance" or equalize that difference? They have no volume controls.

HI Doug,

The amplifiers have a GAIN of 28 dB. So they do not affect the volume of sound going to your speakers. Usually the preamp/processor is where volume balance is controled from.
