Hello, I'm Scott, a long-time audiophile.
Started at 14 with a hand-me-down Fisher 600 receiver. Things rapidly took-off from there. Electronics background in Naval avionics and electronics calibration. Currently an IT worker, systems administrator mostly dealing in fiber channel storage infrastructure and backup systems. I've used USB computer audio since 2007.
Over the years, I've had many systems: JBL monitors, Vandersteen, KEF, Celestion, Martin Logan, Oris horns, B&W, and Acoustat. Many tube and solid state amps / preamps from single ended tube amps to large SS and tube amps.
True believer and linear power supplies and precision clocks for the digital audio chain.
My favorite thing is to voice speakers and amplifiers.
