Had to have patience but finally received my Vintage HO Monitors with twin RS8's in Claro Walnut from Louis today. Hooked up and going thru the long break in... my Super 6 XRS Alnico's took 200+ hours, during the first 100 they were all over the place :)

Saweeet! Awesome! Ok, honestly, those are cool as hell, and that wood is just gorgeous. Well done Louis, as always. Congrats Kray, something tells me you are enjoying the process.

Thanks fellas... yes the walnut is beautiful.
Even though the break in process is a roller coaster I can already hear some greatness in them. but I promised myself do critical listening until about 2 weeks in :D

Is this common for Omegas in general or just the Super 6 Alnicos? I've read interviews from Sean Casey as Zu speakers that you can help shorted the break in period a lot by playing the new speakers at high volumes during the first couple of days.

^ they alll take while to break in. It’s an exercise in patience but worth it

Kray,
How are the speakers breaking in? Any thoughts on how they behave compared to the Jr. Alnico towers?
I hope all is well.
