Wendell just sent me this, I'm going to try and catch this one.
I avoided the 30.7s because they're way out of my price range and what's been heard can not be easily unheard!

Looks like they gave their web site an overhaul but the LRS+ is missing, no mention of this road trip.
It would be good if they could take the LRS along as well as the LRS+ so you could compare the two models to see if it's worth upgrading or not.

My guess is nothing would be available for purchase on the spot, it would be listen and contact the factory to order.
Last I heard it was a 6 months wait.

When I placed my order quite some time back they said think October which I translated to December.

I spoke with them over a month ago. They were still working out production and shipping kinks. At that point they had a large backlog of LRS orders that people wanted changed to the + model. The best estimate at that time was a new order was looking at a 6 month wait.

The best way is to go on their website to their contact page… tell them what you want and your phone number and wait for a call back from a Minnesota area code… could be a day… could be a month.

I filled out the form and then I think I had to call which is odd but whatever.

No, I'm going to reuse the Magnarisers, I'm not quit sure what I'm going to do with the LRS'.

Rectangular box is here, think I know what's inside it.

I was right, they're speakers.

They're brand new and sound a bit strident but I have heard enough to form an initial impression: while the LRS was a great speaker for the money, the LRS+ is just a great speaker, period.
I put on Apostrophe' and there's yet another track way down in the mix that I'd never heard before. This may be due to near field listening but that came as a surprise.
There was also one guitar solo that just came BLASTING out of the speakers.

Is the upgrade worth it?
If the rest of your gear is good enough, yes.

I hope they do the plus thing to the rest of the line up.

Glad initial impressions are good. I look forward to reading more after you’ve lived with them a bit.

Unfortunately, any upgrades/new equipment has been put on hold for awhile. I retired early a couple years ago so the budget will be tight for awhile. No regrets though. I still have a system that sounds awesome and I no longer have the stress (or alarm clock!!) of work.
