For sale is a wonderful Korneff 45SE clone made by Oliver J W Sayes (aka sonic_oli) in New York.  The tube configuration is 5U4G, 6SN7, 45.  It uses the design that Jeff Korneff made so well-known and appreciated.  This particular amp is upgraded with Hashimoto H-507S output transformers, Jupiter copper foil wax & paper capacitors, ClarityCap’s 250Vdc ESA series Film Capacitors and vintage Elna Cerafine 47 + 47 uF - 500V electrolytic capacitors.  1.8 watts per channel of mighty Single Ended Triode power.

I love 45 amps and I have owned a bunch of 45 amps in the past from Korneff, Yamamoto, Burgess, Hogan, Moth and several others. There are sonic differences amongst them but not really huge differences, and I can say with all honesty that this amp belongs in that group.  The build quality and the sound are just excellent.  This amp competes well against amps costing several time its cost.

45 – Pair of GE Canada 45’s, pair of Wizard 45’s
6SN7 - Pair of Ken-rad Black Glass 6SN7GT/VT-231, pair of Sylvania 6SN7GTB chome tops
5U4G – Sylvania VT-244/5U4G, Sylvania 5U4GB (marked Zenith)

I would also sell the buyer a set of my best tubes for this amp to the buyer (Emission Labs solid plate 45, Tungsol 6SN7GT round plates, Tungsol 5U4G top getter). 

I will soon be selling a great 76/37 preamp also made by sonic_oli.  This is a fabulous preamp with a separate power supply using a 5y3 rectifier and the main unit using 6SN7 and either 76 or 37 tubes, which can be swapped without any adjustments. It has 4 inputs and 2 outputs.  The volume control is a TKD 2CP-2508 Series, Stereo, Volume Potentiometer.  Upgraded capacitors are Jupiter copper foil wax & paper capacitors.  The ability to select different tubes in this unit give it an unusual ability for you to tune it for your taste and system.  I will offer this preamp to the successful buyer of the amp, as they are truly made for each other.  If they decide not to purchase it, I will put it up for sale.  THE PREAMP IS SHOWN IN THE LAST PHOTO.

I am not selling these beautiful sounding pieces to buy something else.  I am forced by age and physical condition to sell all my cool audio stuff.  This great gear needs to be passed along to those who can use and appreciate it.

I was going to remark on what a bargain these are but then observed the lack of asking price.

I own one of Oliver's amps (a 421A amp using Don Garber's circuit) with a similar component quality (although more NOS capacitors and different Hashimoto outputs).  Oliver is a craftsman with a great ear.  His amps are based on proven, simple designs with plenty of room to work.  Oliver doesn't charge enough for his work to make a living at it, merely to fund his hobby.  He has a great ear and anyone buying these will get a great product.

I highly recommend picking up the matching preamp.  It looks like the bruce Berman design and was voiced using the Korneff amp.

I noticed that the OP has this listed on another site for $1,350.  This is a serious bargain.  The output iron and capacitors are easily worth half that alone.
