I'm very interested in your experience with the BSG Tech device, so please post your reactions/review/thoughts when you get your hands on it?

Thanks!

It reminded me of Q-sound.  Not quite surround but definitely deeper sound stage.  It kind of sounded soft and diffused but it may have been my brain equating it to gimmicky Q-sound.  QOL, the recapturing of phase information, is supposed to be done in the analog domain.  I don't have a clue what a circle vs. a line means on the Oscilloscope when they don't specify what's being measured.  I am open to try it but with a healthy dose of skepticism.   :dunno:

The phase changed with the QOL activated (the signal switched quadrants).  So the phase change, higher gain, and increased details they claim could make for an interesting shift.  TBD on whether we would live with it or not.

Just see the demo, the musical improve was really huge. :thumb:
This is a great device to be inside CD players, as the a option knob.
I wonder if the sound is same good in Stereo or MC?
Or this device fit good only to mono recordings??

For both Stero and Mono. Licensing is under way by BSGT just for that purpose as well as all other devices that produce sound. Multichannel has some issues as the source is manipulated by the processing of the MC device. As for mono playback, who needs stereo, yes that affective. In stereo one must hear it to believe it.

Not sure we have not heard a word about this device, sorry. Until we are able to learn more and compare the two devices side by side in our system we cannot and will not offer an opinion. Just not our style. :thumb:

Look for the upcoming review in the Absolute Sound by Robet Harley.  For our home demo program we will supply "Depends" for the listener. :)

Rollo

Can you give a more detailed review for those of us across the pond?

Thanks

PS, the only blurb I could find online suggest that they use fast fourrier transform (FFT) algorithms.

Yes however not yet. Waiting for the review to come out in the Absolute Sound. We would not want to upstage the magazine.
What I can say is no digital processing at all.

As a special for AC members we will include a Triode Wire Labs 10ga powercord when purchased.
Check out this ground breaking technology in your system. An experience that just  may change your mind about how we listened before.

I own a H-Cat preamp and its wavefront alignment technology does work. More dimension and better focus. From the description in the Absolute Sound, it appears both devices independently deal with signal phase. Both are done in the analog relm as well.
