 I am wondering when did the Mini T's tweeter get changed for the current one with the cast in difuser  I think  that it's a great idea but was curious ...When I order my set will they have the new one? thanks.

Were there three versions of the tweeter, or just two?

  thanks James,  can you set me. Up ?  Is it just a matter of unscrewing them and installing the new improved ?   What will 🐝 the improvements heard ?  Is it soft dome or metallic ? Thanks much,,

Yes just unscrew the old units and replace with the new units.

Hi Folks,

Over the last year we have been developing a new tweeter for the Model T and Model A Series speakers.
Model A Speakers currently in the market already incorporate this new design.

The new tweeter has 4 major changes:

1. A die-cast aluminum face plate for both better rigidity and for cooling. It functions as a heat sink for the tweeter.
2. A new horn design to provide smoother off-axis response above 12 kHz,
3. A larger rear chamber that lowers the resonance frequency further below the crossover region.
4. The new tweeter can also handle significantly more power than the older version.

The new tweeter is retro-fit-able to all existing Model T’s in the field and are being utilized in all current production.
Price of the new replacement tweeter is $90.00 Each.

Are the tweeters exactly the same between models or are there differences between models?  For instance, is the model t tweeter interchangeable with the middle t tweeter?

Hi

Same drivers and crossovers on all models.  When you choose a specific Bryston speaker you are not choosing quality differences - you are choosing application differences.
