Bryston-Team, or anyone who knows,

need some advice regarding the 875HT amp...and please correct me if i'm wrong here

let's say there is a pair of 4 ohm speakers that can be driven by 3 stereo amps (highs, mids, lows).

amp would be the 875 in following configuration:

left speaker - first output 75 watts (highs), second output 75 watts (mids), third and fourth output in bridged mode 250 watts (lows).

right speaker - same configuration.

as far as i know a Bryston amp ''sees'' the half of the impedance when channels are bridged.

the question is:

is it true that this setup above has different loads now and makes it 4 ohms for highs, 4 ohms for mids and 2 ohms for the lows ????!!!????

if yes, would it create any kind of trouble for the amp and/or the speaker in any way ?

thanks,

al.
