i would like to know what tubes you are using with your sony and how you would describe the sonic results.
also :if someone could provide a good source to buy tubes that would be helpful.

I am using  Amperex 7119 Tubes in my Sony 9000ES.  I bought mine from Upscale Audio for $40.00 per tube.  They sound a little sweeter and have slightly more gain than the Tung Sols.  Herbies Halo Tube Dampers will improve them even further.
