And what amps are in the system?

A remote? Didn't realize that was an option...

Sonic wise, the Dodd preamp is a hard act to follow.

I love the remote.  :thumb:

If there's an input jack for the remote in the back, does that mean it's a wired remote?

How quaint!

I got it unpacked and hooked up.  That's pretty much it.

I'll call it a special request but with an agreement.

No No.  The jack above the IEC is for the wall wart that powers the remote motor.

Hey Jtwrace,
I ordered the dude 2 days ago and of course I am excited to receive it. How long did it take for it to be built and delivered? Please let us know how you like it soon!

Maybe:

He woke up, had a big smile on his face when he read your message, thought it was worth celebrating with a cigar, and wow, the TRL Dude, an acquisition worthy of (secular) worship.

Snoozing waiting for some feedback.  Awful quiet.  Might as well smoke 'em if you got 'em.  Please, we beg you, give us some feedback!

Yep, have.  Want to see if JT has the same reaction as owners have had.

Pete, I gotta assume if Jason listens to this preamp prior to break-in (i.e before 200+ hours) he'll give irrelevant feedback, especially if he's comparing to what he's used to.  I don't expect to hear anything worth while for a couple weeks minimum.

I think I'll just turn the rest of the system on tonight and take a quick listen just to get an idea.
