I loved your show coverage and you took some really great pics - thank you.

However, when you have an unfamiliar room, with never heard before equipment in it, how can you determine the performance of an individual product?  I think the best that can be said is whether you enjoyed the room or not - nothing more.

This isn't just directed just at you, but to everybody out there.

That's an excellent and fair point. As to how it sounds, and whether or not it's new enclosure makes a significant impact on the sound of the unit (or of the larger system as a whole) is simply not something I can comment on, that's true.

But FWIW, my comments were about the design and execution of the DAC. That casework is just awesome.
