Francine Reed toured as part of Lyle Lovett's band for a decade.  A beautiful voice worthy of your consideration.

Francine Reed - Shades of Blue

JazzTimes: Francine Reed’s voice is velvet-smooth with a gritty edge that can be soothing or sassy, soulful or bawdy.

CB,
That looks like a nice disk!  Do you use a mono cartridge for your older mono LPs?

Hey guys.  I've been eyeing this Clifton Brown 3 cd set on Ponomusic.  Since it was recorded in the early 1950's I'm concerned about the sound quality.  Have anyone you heard this set?

Clifford Brown - The EmArcy Master Takes, Vol. 2: The Singers Sessions

This is the listing on Ponomusic.  Thanks in advance for your insights and experiences.
