CB, ain't the ECM catalog great! I have one from Double Image, "Dawn"- vibraphone, marimba, bassist Harvie Swartz, and drums. It's both unique and terrific.

I've never heard a badly recorded ECM. My local record store is a rock n roll/metal kinda place, and until I bought all their Blue Notes, no jazz was more than $2. Now they have gotten savvy and are $10-15

... however, I've learned to keep my mouth shut, and all their ECM catalog is still... $2. Oh yeah, life is good. Just picked up another copy of Joe Jackson's "Body and Soul" for $2. It's a fine recording and pressing.

Love ECM and there are so many great albums on it like the one you mentioned, another one I'd like. I have 96 ECM albums on vinyl and many more on CD. I just picked up this Connors album last week and sounds superb Incredible acoustic guitar work. ECM SQ is usually excellent, especially the German pressings which are a real treat.

A lot of stores don't even know what it is. They think it's some kind of New Age album or something. Luckily for us.
