Cool PM!

I forgot to post my ticket stub for the Shakti concert I attended in '77. 4 Shakti concerts in 24 hours. 2 shows each night.

Live trips are way cool around here, Roberto.  When I have guests, I'm seating them where I might have sat which one can do with ye olde volume control.  But then, I listen to lots of music made on location as would you at my discretion if you were ever to be my guest.  I suppose we could listen to some studio Steely Dan, at least.  Maybe even some Laurie Anderson.  Can't be sure, ya know.  The only JM I have is with Santana and do I ever wish it was a better recording!!!  It purely pales to what it might have been, dammit.

Cool!  :thumb:  I loved the Ivanhoe. Saw many great concerts there and even the drink prices were reasonable.

That, too, but you'd have to bring it.  It's one I don't have, but I DO have a bunch of ECM's.  Cheers.

Hoping some hard bop will get me moving as I do laundry in prep for flying out to Chicago tomorrow and clean house for company for my son's graduation this Friday. Just not enough time, or too much dust, pick one!

really enjoying this cd (which just came in the mail today), for the quality of the recording, the playing (by all of her bandmates), and her singing.  the video is a tune featured on the album  looking back  which has just been released.

they really did get an excellent mix for the cd.  "top drawer", as they say as far as how her vocals and all the instruments backing her up are so well integrated.  excellent recording.  i just checked the liner notes on the cd and it says:  "mixed and mastered by jeff gruber and lena seikaly."
recorded at blue house studios, kensington, md.  (they did a great job with this).
Terry Parr, that IS tasty.  Nice one.
