Saw him, Chris Potter, at Small's in the Village with a quintet including Renee Rosnes on piano in the December after 9/11. The trip from Houston was for my daughter's 21st birthday. A nice couple of sets it was. The place was so empty we even got to chat with the band.

Ryan Truesdell's fan-funded Gil Evans Project CD- Centennial has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards! The categories are: Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album, Best Instrumental Arrangement, and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s).
