Hi:

I have built the 100 wpc AKSA and used the Avel Lindberg Y236752.  I will be building a 3 channel 1x100wpc + 2x55wpc version and needed to confirm the secondary rating for the 160 VA transformers for the 55wpc channels.

The catalog lists 25-0-25 - Y236504
30-0-30 - Y236505

I live in LA with pretty stable 117V mains which may brown out a little in summer, but do not seem to go too high like others have described.

Any thoughts on which transformers to order?

Hi Michael,

I'd go for the Y236504, 25-0-25Vac.

The 55W AKSA is not so finely tuned on rail voltage as the 100W, so there should be no issue at all even if it goes up to a 40V rail.
