I'm happy to announce the Northern California DIY Audio Group annual meeting will be taking place on Saturday October 20th in Roseville.

When it rains it pours.  That same weekend we'll also be blessed with the Burning Amp Festival in San Francisco.  Take a look at http://burningamp.com/ and the thread over at Diyaudio on the topic http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=106844.

The Burning Amp folks were originally thinking about a 2 day event but have now scaled it back to Sunday only.  In principle, one could go to both events but I think one day will be enough for me, and that day will probably be the Burning Amp event.  It's a shame they're both on the same weekend - otherwise I'd be probably try to attend both events.

That's great - Burning Amp.

As my neighbor across the street, who has attended a few Burning Man events (including the last one a couple weeks ago) would concur....lots and lots of nekked amps are likely to be on display there  :)
