Very nicely done!

I'm now curious to know what the main differences are from the LXII to the HT8's which I currently have on order?

Al, can you chime in here and let me know when you have a sec.

Thanks!  :D

John
The difference between the HT8 and LX II.
Well the mids on the HT8 present them self smooth yet not over powering balance similar to the LX II but the dispersion goes to the HT8 due to the narrow baffle of only 7" width.
Yet the LX II dispersion is no slouch ither.
Kind of funny, some people come for a demo of the HT8 and love the LX II others come for the LX II snd reslly like the HT8.

The low end is very dominant in the HT8 yet the LX II is smooth bass and not tuned as low as the HT8.

Really the HT8 as the HT3, you just place them in a room and most will find no sub is needed. For those who have to have bass below 25 hz then you would add a sub to the HT8.
The LX II is a better match for a sub with the over all tight clean lower mid bass. But roomm dependant the LX II may not need a sub.

Point to think about
-HT8 no sub is needed a little harder to match with a sub woofer
-LX II intergrates with a sub very well.

By the way thanks for the well writen review EP.
These hemp composite drivers can be very smooth to listen to.
