Bache audio Loudspeakers offer first class design, great value and world class performance. The provided combinations of natural sound and graceful timbre, making the BACHE AUDIO 001 suitable for all music taste. Available April 2014

The heart of the Bache Audio 001 is an 8” bamboo paper driver with neodymium magnets that reproduces an extremely wide spectrum-from 100Hz to 10000Hz. The driver is made by Tang band Co., and modified in Bache Audio laboratories. The horn super tweeter is a Fostex Limited Edition FT-96A-EX2 that takes over at 10000 Hz. No high pass filter is used on the wide range 8” driver instead, it is allowed to roll off naturally. The woofer is low –pass filtered at 100 Hz with a second-order crossover in passive version and with four order active crossover in the active version.

The Bache Audio 001 is available in two versions: The 001 PB is purely passive, while the 001 AB- contains an active bass module. The active version is recommended for those listeners who prefer low-powered, SET tube amplifiers. Both versions have high sensitivity, and can be used with both tube and solid state amplifiers (including Class D)

FEATURES

Bache Audio 001 loudspeakers incorporate the following main components:

CABINET

The cabinet is constructed of thick, high quality MDF. The surface is finished in expensive plywood & high gloss lacquer. Inside the cabinet is Sonic Barrier coated acoustic damping foam to control unwanted sound reflections, and to absorb extraneous acoustic energy.

DRIVERS

Tweeter: Using a brass at the horn opening section as well as the equalizer eliminates an unwanted sound generated from the horn to the sound wave output from the aluminum ring diaphragm than can be generated within horns. The special matte paint finish on the whole horn section further lowers any unnecessary reflections.
The Aluminum ring diaphragm contains tungsten vibration deadening material an special vibration absorbing material. The aluminum diaphragm outer section is solidly fixed by the aluminum ring for more accurate. The tungsten vibration deadening material is inserted between the ring and the magnetic circuit so that an unnecessary vibration is not transmitted to the magnetic circuit. Placing the special vibration absorbing material between the aluminum diaphragm and the horn reduces the diaphragm-specific resonance sound and emits an accurate sound wave to the horn.

Wide range driver:

The Tang band wide range driver features a sturdy cast frame, multiple-element neodymium magnet system, paper cone, and cloth half-roll surround. A precisely machined integral phase plug prevents phase cancellations and improves high frequency extension and dispersion. The under hung 1-1/2″ voice coil reduces second and third harmonic distortion.

Bass System

Both models employ a new Double Ported Power flow Floor Facing (“PFF”) system.

001 AB

The driver is a VIFA 10“NE265W-8woofer, which features an open cast aluminum basket design that minimizes internal acoustic reflections, and helps cool the neodymium motor. An additional heat sink provides extra thermal dissipation. The cone is constructed of a coated natural wood fiber, with a butyl rubber surround designed by finite element analysis for linearity of performance. FEA techniques also contribute to the motor’s copper cap, which reduces inductance and extends the driver’s upper frequency range. It has a very low moving mass of 75 gram to achieve fast transient speed.
The Bass Module comprises a 300 watt Class D (auto switch) amplifier for enhanced control of the cone, thereby proving for fast, articulate bass production.
