Title: Need help from you Bryston experts! Question about DAC unit for preamps.
Post by: jaxwired on 23 Apr 2018, 12:22 pm
Hi,
Hoping someone can provide a quick answer to these two questions about the internal DAC unit for the Bryston preamps.  I have a BP26 with the DAC unit factory installed.  I also have a Byrston b60r integrated amp.  I want to move the DAC card from the BP26 to the B60R.

1.  Can I move the internal DAC card from the BP26 to the B60R myself?  Is it just a matter of unplugging the board and plugging it into the B60R?
2.  If I do move the DAC, what state is the BP26 left in?  What happens to those two RCA jacks that are currently labeled DAC1 and DAC2?

Thanks.  Any help greatly appreciated!!!
