Recommendation for an affordable desktop integrated amp with USB DAC, Bluetooth

My teenage son has shown an interest in my CD & vinyl collections, I’m helping him put together a modest compact desktop system. This would be based around a an integrated amp with 1-2 line level inputs, or one line and one digital coax,  built in USB DAC, Bluetooth, SW out & headphone out. I realize that’s a lot to ask for in one device.

The Dayton Audio HTA50BT (https://www.daytonaudio.com/product/1816/hta50bt-hybrid-stereo-tube-amplifier-with-integrated-dac-sub-out-and-headphone-out) checks all the boxes for a crazy low price. But I don’t care about having a tube preamp, I’d prefer a Class D product. I see several Class D devices on Amazon, has anyone ever used one of these?

edit-I should have mentioned my budget. Most of the suitable devices on Amazon are less than $200 and have a small footprint. I'm not opposed to spending more but I don't want to overwhelm my son with complicated gear like the other systems in our home.

Thank you for this. I've been around hifi and home theater long enough to have owned many big name brand components, but I didn't even consider this route. My own desk has compact Topping components and a narrow Nuprime amp, but maybe one of the well established brands has simplest and most reliable solution.

Without knowing your budget, take a look at this int. amp.  It has everything you need, sub out, DAC and headphone jack.  No BT though.

This Denon meets all your requirements-

I have the Dayton Audio HTA50BT, and while it has a certain magic for background music that draws me in, when I sit down in the sweet spot I realize how distorted it is.  I probably would look elsewhere for nearfield desktop listening.  But if it's for background music while you're moving around throughout the house, I think it sounds great.

Add PS Audio Sprout, NAD D3020 V2 to the list.

The Bluesound Power Node Edge may work as well.

If it is in you budget, the PSA Sprout would be the way to go.

DTH, I own the HTA50BT and it is sweet little unit. Punches well above its price point. I liked the 50 so much I purchased an HTA100BT for the entertainment room. The 50BT is a great choice for a desktop rig IMHO. genjamon has a different opinion than mine and that gives you more info. I have a Dayton Audio kit with a very small ported box with a full range 3 incher with the 50BT and I think it sounds lovely.

Just my $.02,
JCarney

I picked up a Arcam Solo 2.1 last month on an impulse buy. Boy did I get a bargain, cost $$200 & has everything you need bar Bluetooth, but that can be overcome as it has a HDMI input.
How does it sound, well it is now my main CD player & is scaringly so close to my $10,000 vinyl rig I was gob smacking, I am even buying CD's again!!

Cheers

I found this review of the Douk ST-01 interesting:

And googling just a bit, it looks like the Douk is a rebadge of the Aiyima T9 if you care to buy from the original designer/company rather than a company that just licenses the design for resale. There’s also an interesting tour of their headquarters here:

I think this Fosi Audio DA2120D https://fosiaudioshop.com/products/da-2120d-bluetooth-audio-amplifiers-2-1-channel-stereo-100w-power-amp-usb-coaxial-optical-aux-remote-control-for-home-speaker can meet your needs completely, it's a Class D amplifier, one line and one digital coax,  built in USB DAC, Bluetooth, SW out & headphone out, it has all you want, haha~

I built a little system at work based on a Dayton Audio DTA-2.1BT2 100W 2.1 Class D Bluetooth Amplifier with Sub Frequency Adjustment. It checks all of your boxes except a dac. I've had it for about a year with no issues. It's listing for 89.00 this morning, but is frequently discounted (I paid 69.00 for mine.)

Anything new in this arena?  Looking for integrated amp with DAC, sub out and multiple inputs - and USB.

I've been very happy with my NuPrime IDA-8 on the desktop for several years now.

NuPrime maybe out of price range.
Audio Advisor has had a demo ID8 on clearance for several months at a couple of hundred off list.

I just reread your opening and realize you mentioned BT and headphone out.  The ID has neither.

That’s a bummer.
