Oracle Delphi Mk II turntable with extras - SOLD!
« on: 14 May 2011, 02:29 pm »
Oracle Delphi Mk II high end turntable in near-mint condition.  I believe this was a Mk I that has had its suspension upgraded to make it a Mk II (the only difference between the two models I'm aware of).  Without arm or cartridge.  Comes with mostly-complete Oracle Maintenance kit ($220 value - missing spray cleaner and oil).  Also included:  Oracle record clamp, dustcover and hinges in exc. condition - NO cracks!, Oracle setup disc, Oracle Groove Isolator sorbothane mat, new belt sourced from Oracle (cost me $50), Oracle power supply, installed armboard for any 24 X 222 arm, four additional armboards for several different arms, several extra springs to accomodate virtually any weight arm, and a photocopy of the manual.  This table is considered by many to be the finest sounding turntable ever made.  Works perfectly.  Sounds awesome!

Will ship but prefer a local buyer for the 'table's safety.

$750 + shipping

your oracle is a mkll, whatever upgrades it may have.  i have the first wersion, (it wasn't called a mkl, it was simply called an oracle delphi); mine has been upgraded to mkv specs, except for the platter.  and, i went w/an origin-live dc motor kit, instead of the oracle motor upgrade.  you can tell the difference between the first oracles and the later iterations by the different front control panel:

this is a great deck, imo, and a good price.  someone will be wery happy with this, and it can be further upgraded, as funds allow.

From dougs picture he had an AC motor Oracle Delphi, where the OP has a PABST DC motor Oracle Delphi with upgrades to MKII.  I worked on both of those style tables awhile ago when I was rebuilding them for friends.

The difference is in the front panel interface to the two different motors.

I moded my DC motor Delphi MKI with most of the MKV upgrades.  It is a great table in my setup with a SME Series III arm and Shure Ultra 500 cartridge!

This is what I was looking for for a LOOOONG time.  A great table at a great price from a great seller.  This is a no brainier.  Have seen similar tables go for much more money...

what i do not understand is why it has not sold yet.

Thanks guys for the kind words about me and my table.  Much appreciated.

I'm sure the Boston pickup part is why it's still here.  But I've received and shipped enough TTs to know I don't want to ship this one.  Esp. considering the great condition of the dustcover.  I'm patient.  A local buyer will emerge.

Thanks!

If I was going to get back into vinyl, I would jump all over this.

Great deal, great table, and great seller.

Best of luck with the sale.

Absolutely!

My upgraded amps and preamp are on the FedEx truck and I should have them sometime today.

Figure a few weeks to get everything burned in and I'll look to do something in mid to late June.

Now let's get that table sold!

Great suggestion on the Oracle packing, Doug!

So, if you get a box from Oracle I'm more than happy to ship this great 'table to you.

How's the new(ish) setup George?

I have wanted an oracle for a long time. I absolutely love the oracle sound - my favorite tables based on any company I have heard are Oracles.

Just to stoke the fire a little

This is one of the nicest tables ever! I had one years ago with a Technics EPA 100 tonearm and of all the products I've owned over the years I wish I would have never sold that combination.

If your looking for a great table, pick this bad boy up. You won't regret it. :thumb:
