Cool stuff Jim.  Although you might want to ask them to note that the prices are for the complete versions.  The article discusses the kits a lot (particularly the last paragraph), making the prices easily confused.

One of these days I'll give a Clarinet a try.  :)

Components in Revew Units
Jim,  Congratulations on the excellent review!  As far as the Cornet2 is concerned, did the unit reviewed have the standard spec components--resistors, coupling caps, power supply caps---or did it have any upgrades?  Thanks.

Stock parts!  Not even the upgraded output caps I put in a normally assembled unit (what was I thinking?).

Replacement of stepped attenuator for the Clarinet
« Reply #7 on: 28 Sep 2005, 08:01 pm »
Hi,  :finger:

Anyone who has done the upgrading of the volume control with a stepped attenuator 24 steps/100K/stereo to the Clarinet would please help me to guide how to do with pictures or text are fine to me since I can see the Clarinet has a volume control and channel balance. Do I need to eliminate part of PCB by using wires to replace it? Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Tan
