Does anyone know which speakers and cables (other than WLM and ALO) work especially well with the Signature 30.2 LFP-V?

Hi audiocirclerocks,

Welcome to the RWA forum!

Let us know your budget for speaker cables / interconnects, and how long you need them to be.   What are you currently using?  There are many good choices.

Hi Vinnie
I was wondering the same thing; I've got your sig15 (thank you!). I'd need 6' speaker cables and a short interconnect (1/2 meter). In the world of audio, my budget is low...about $250.
Thanks
Mike

For what it's worth, I'm using Speltz Anti-Cables for both IC's and speaker cable with my Sig 15. Also used them with my Sig 30.2. They work great and should be within your budget.

Hi Mike,

I agree with CSI.

Also check out DNM Reson:

I believe they can make them in custom lengths, and hopefully they'll be able to meet your budget or come close!

Best regards,

Vinnie

Hi Mike

If you are interesting I can send you my cables just for test drive to see if you like them, because I have no use for them for some time now.Speakers cables are made from Audioquest-Type-1 http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=AQTYPE1
I did cut them all for 6' size and twist them thogeder these Dayton banana plugs.

As for interconnect cables I did make my from coax bulk cable with pure silver core and 99.99% cooper shielding. As rca connectors I use these Dayton's

Hi,

Has anybody tried the Tekton 81t Speakers, these are said to be designed for Tripath amps, which should suit the 30.2 but I don't know about the Sig15.
They are 95db bookshelves.

Hi Henry,

Welcome to the RWA forum!

I'd love to try those!

Contact Eric of Tekton - he owns a Signature 15 and hopefully he'll test it out for you.

And I now own a pair of Tekton Lore S speakers and they are NICE!  I don't know how you can do better for $1.4k, and they sound amazing with the Sig 15!  :singing:

Best regards,

Vinnie

I use the same as spkr cables with Sig 15 and previously with Sig 30.2 LFP-V. Nothing has been in this system as a comparison, but the sound is fantastic. Bought mine as raw bulk to save money. I have a slight twist on them and scraped bare terminations. Not great looking, but do the job for very reasonable price.

Newbie to the forum, audiophile since the early 70's...
have been using Vanden Hul CS 122 cable for years and it is amazing value if you seek a natural warm presentation.
Around $100 buys 2 meter pairs and you may find it on the used market for half that price!
Always liked the product but beware, the CS 122 is the pick of their litter!
cheers and happy listening!
