Arriving today, I hope, is the Little Dot headphone amp/preamp (http://www.littledot.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=815&sid=4a0295628f022dfffdbea9505989b3b3) Sam Tellig wrote about a little while ago.  I'm looking replace my trusty Dynaco Pas2 with it.  Which means that the dampers presently on the Pas2's tubes will be freed up.  These are Ultrasonic Rx and Ultrasonic Preamp dampers.  I know that the c-rings that hold the pads are replaceable for these; what about the PEEK and Blackbery dampers?  Are their c-rings replaceable?

Yes, the C-rings are replaceable. Isolation pads can be transferred from one C-ring to another.

I may have to make a special order for the Blackbery or PEEK rings.  I want to get a look at the tubes.  I do have calipers for getting an accurate diameter.  It may be next week before I see the amp.  DHL international called me to let me know their driver had gotten so ill on his route they had to send emergency help.
