How go the "Julietta's"?

Now that is interesting .. Can you give us some hints on what this array is going to be like?

Dipole arrays with monopole bass units. Scan-Speak, Seas, and RAAL drivers. All actively-driven with DSP crossovers.

I know you haven't finished them or named them, but how goes them?

Why monopole bass units rather than dipole/OB bass units?

These should be killer speakers!

Selecting the design layout and materials is taking some time so we leave no stone unturned. Several reasons for the monopole bass some of which I want to keep proprietary. Based on all of the factors involved the monopole offered the best solution.

These offer the promise of truly world class, over the top, performance.  I'm a likely buyer, although mine will have to be named the "Donnatella's"

They are coming along fine. The planning and preparation (material samples, etc.) took awhile but now the cabinets are in the assembly mode. Stay tuned for further details.

Quite unlike anything else on the market! Materials include carbon fiber, special composite steel plates, bamboo plywood, and MDF. When the pictures are available you'll see why we consider this to be the most advanced speaker ever on Audio Circle.  :thumb:

A combination of reasons - mechanical stability, acoustical properties, aesthetics, and most of all, sound quality.

My cheap digital camera really doesn't do them justice. You can come see and hear them in a few weeks.

Those do look amazing.

So is the plan to keep them open in the back?
What size Mid-woofers? Are those cut outs for the 7" scan speaks, or smaller? Revelator's or Illuminators, which RAAL's? So many questions. Which I could make it to NYC to hear these babies. :(

Yes, dipole midrange operation. 5.25" Scan-Speak Illuminators and RAAL 140-15D ribbons.

I've used this reply in the past, but it will work here, too.

Wow.

It will surely be out of my price range, but it may be a bargain when compared to other top-of-the-line models from larger speaker manufacturers.

Interesting design

any reason why it's a Monopole bass....
Rick have you ever had the oppurtunity to
do a dipole bass section?

Looking forward to seeing you once again at
RMAF....and seeing what you bring out.
