I’m sending you belated Christmas greetings combined with an early Happy New Year and a special thank you for the Epicos! I’m making progress with the ongoing clean-up jobs leftover from Florence/Michael and the Epicos have provided some much needed chillaxin sessions. I’ve put quite a few hours of play on them - everything from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio to Mitsuko Uchida to Archie Shepp - and I find them to be, in a word, spectacular. DSP programming is a new and somewhat head scratching experience for me so I’ll wait a few more weeks to experiment further before I post a detailed review but for now ‘spectacular’ will do. Having owned the Tempestas and the Compattos, I knew the Epicos would be special but I think you’ve outdone yourself. And as careful as Santa is, I’m glad I chose to pick them up instead of shipping. The Epicos are things beauty and I couldn’t/wouldn’t take the chance of shipping damage. And in terms of WAF, the Epicos get full marks.
