As an owner of a Devialet Expert 400 with Dynaudio Focus 360 speakers, I can personally attest the the function does more or less work as advertised, and provides improved performance with the Dynaudio speakers.
The Devialet sounds better than any other DAC/amp setup I've come across. I no longer am looking to upgrade the electronics, as the Devialet is that good. Perhaps one day, would update the Devialet units, but for now, see no need to do so.
